Terms of Service

Last updated 25 June 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Imposted. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them — especially the sections on your content, third-party platforms, and liability.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Imposted, operated by Imposted (“Imposted”, “we”, “us”). If you use Imposted on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” means that organisation.

2. The service

Imposted lets you compose a post once, adapt it for multiple networks, schedule it, and publish to the destinations you connect. Available networks and features change over time as platform integrations are added or updated. We may modify, add, or remove features, and we’ll try to avoid disrupting how you work.

3. Accounts and workspaces

You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure, and for everything that happens under your account. A workspace owner is responsible for the members they invite and the connected accounts in that workspace. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Imposted to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • post spam, malware, or content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or deceptive;
  • violate the terms, policies, or rate limits of any connected platform;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

5. Your content

You own the content you create and publish through Imposted. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, adapt formatting for each network, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service and to publish it as you’ve instructed. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to post it. You’re also responsible for complying with the rules of each platform you publish to.

6. Third-party platforms

Imposted connects to networks and services we don’t control (such as Slack, and others). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and they may change, limit, or discontinue their APIs at any time. We’re not responsible for the availability, behaviour, or decisions of third-party platforms — including if a post is delayed, rejected, rate-limited, or removed by them. You authorise us to access those platforms on your behalf using the credentials you connect.

7. Plans, trials, and billing

Each plan starts with a free trial. We won’t charge you until the trial ends. When paid plans are active, fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, are stated exclusive of taxes (which we add where required), and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. We may change pricing with reasonable notice, effective at your next renewal.

8. Early and beta features

We may label some features “coming soon,” “beta,” or similar. These are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn, and may be less reliable than generally available features.

9. Our intellectual property

Imposted, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the service except the right to use it as described.

10. Disclaimers

Imposted is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every scheduled post will be delivered, since delivery also depends on third-party platforms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Imposted will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Imposted harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party platform’s rules.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Imposted at any time and delete your workspace from settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or fail to pay. When an account is closed, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Imposted after changes take effect means you accept them.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
